The Democratic Christian Republic of Melite has acquired a two-year long lease on Dilu Territory in Massachusets, after a treaty signed with the Kingdom of Fontasia, the Nexan Republic, the Kingdom of ŠÄ¨ynja and the Empire of Meritia, granting Melite 10% of the Dilu Territory, and the landmass.

The island shall be administered in the form of Military commissariat similar to war-time German colonies, with a commissar in charge of the land. It's official name has also been chosen as: The Military Commissariat for the Dilu Territory of the Democratic Christian Republic of Melite, known in short as Melitian Dilu between the Five Powers, Dilu Commissariat, or simply Dilu in normal parlance.

Issues started when Terry Arthur McKeen III, President of the Zepranan Commonwealth claimed the whole of Dilu Island, after failing to negotiate it becoming an International Zone, causing the Allies to react by enforcing their claims amd condemning McKeen's actions. This resulted in the breakout of the so-called Dilu Island dispute, or "Zepranan Cold War" as it is known in Zeprana, part of a series of controversies surrounding him, the most notable being, the threat of nuking the State of Norton.

In a made up list written on the Micronations.wiki website, without any proof of any sort, McKeen drew up an extensive list of Allies and Axis (some immaginary, some real) in favour or against Zeprana, with the Axis all being micronations whose leaders have either annoyed McKeen, or may have had a qualm with him. All the Allies written by McKeen were wiped off, when it was found that none of these purported Allies ever really supported McKeen's claims.
