For the first time in this Parliamentary by-Election, a newly formed party, the Directionist Party of Melite, will be contesting this election for the Parliamentary Seat in the D.C.R. Main Area of Melite.
The Directionist Party was founded and by Vincent Paul and registered with the Melitian Electoral Commission on the 9th of December 2021. This makes this by-Election it's very first election.
Directionism is an ideology founded by Chancellor Desslok V. Nafage of the Nexan Republic (also known as the Nexus). The Ultimate end goal of a Directionist government is the Creation of Fully recognized and sovereign nation state, Often with power vested into a central leader who holds the Nation together through the the course of it's existence and often either begin a term in the Government of the Finalized Nation state, or step down for New leadership to take their place after their mission to establish the Nation has been completed.*
The other parties have also put forward their own candidates. The National Alliance Front coalition parties, the Christian Nationalist Party (CNP) and the TT Party (TT) have decided to put forward separate candidates, while still retaining the coalition without any changes. The Christian Nationalist Party put forward Rafe Burfield as Candidate of the D.C.R. Main Area for the by-Election, while the TT Party put forward Mariah Rodo, also from the Main Area as a candidate. The YeLand SAR-based Anarchist Party put forward Rishi Patel from the Main Area as a candidate representing the Party.
