New Coat of Arms and Motto for Melite

The Government of the Democratic Christian Republic of Melite is pleased to unveil the new coat of arms and Motto of Melite:

Symbolism:

Inside Shield:

• Blue Sky, White Sun, of Anti-Communism
• Cross and Bible, representing the profession of our faith.
• Civic Crown of the Republic.

Outside Shield:

• St. Paul and St. Publius (with his symbol, the lion), both martyrs, are holding the shield. 
• The Columns and Wreath of Victory.

The New Motto is:

CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS REGNAT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT

Therefore, it will be replacing the current coat of arms in the next few days. The old coat of arms will still be used by the YeLand Special Administrative Region, until maybe a new CoA for YeLand is designed.
