Personal Greetings from the President of Melite!

The Media Ministry of the Democratic Christian Republic of Melite gave me the opportunity to start this website with a few words.

You might wonder what Melite is and how it started, allow me to introduce you to Melite.

My name is Matthew Tonna and I am one of the founding fathers of Melite. The D.C.R. was born in Malta, in a secondary school class, as the Democratic Communist Republic of  10B / 11B. and has since evolved into a functioning republic of 14 citizens, 13 residential and 1 diplomat-citizen. We have gone through multiple hardships of all shapes and sizes, including having our micronation re-annexed into the Socialist Republic of Malta, having the population bumping back to 1, with me being the only citizen left, but thank God we managed to restart back on track.

Thanks God we have come a long way and wish to continue developing Melite.
